School Choice Fair started as an idea. It was conceived as a way to
bring all of the Memphis City Schools together at once, to showcase
the Memphis City Schools – our
individual schools, their programs and academic progress – and
to give parents in our community information about our schools and
an opportunity to interact directly with staff.

Middle improves behavior among students
Last
year, A. Maceo Walker Middle School students knew they would have a
few special activities throughout the school year no matter what their
behavior was. This year, under new principal Tonye McBride, they have
to earn special privileges.
