Bellevue
Success Starts with a Winning Attitude
Principal Kevin
Malone believes success starts with a winning mindset, and it’s
evident in just about every sector of the student body at Bellevue
Junior High School. Mr. Malone held an assembly at the school on Tuesday,
April 4 to inspire success for the spring sports season, to commend
the success of its students for being named MCS Reads School
of the Month and above all, to stress the importance of success on
the TCAP and Gateway tests.

Blue Ribbon Spotlight School:
Discipline problems drop at Westhaven Elementary
If
you stroll the halls on Wednesdays at Westhaven Elementary, it may
seem more like a walk on Wall Street. Fourth and fifth grade boys are
wearing ties, and the girls are donned in dresses. It’s all part
of a program meant to build self-esteem and reduce altercations.
