MCS Reads officially launched September 18 in Memphis City Schools.  As promised, the first set of incentives at the elementary, middle and high school levels will be awarded based on reading activities/initiatives.

MCS Announces Classification and Compensation Study;
Employee Meetings Scheduled This Week

Memphis City Schools is undertaking a comprehensive Classification and Compensation study of all non-instructional positions. The purpose of the study will be to review the district’s compensation strategy and philosophy, current classification and pay system, methods for job analysis and evaluation and make recommendation for improvements and modifications. This study will not eliminate jobs.
