About Us
The Department of Federal Programs and Grants works to ensure federal compliance with all fiscal and programmatic components of grants awarded to Memphis City Schools. The department establishes and maintains practices necessary to ensure that all district spending remains compliant. The fiscal unit of this department works diligently to track all grant expenditures and make certain that accounting principles are accurately applied in accordance with federal standards and guidelines outlined in OMB Circulars A-87 and A-133.
This department manages and monitors spending for the following state and federal programs and grants:
