MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Office of General Counsel is to provide in-house legal representation to the Board of Education in all legal matters involving Memphis City Schools in order to promote operational and financial efficiency within the school district. As such, while we answer to the Board of Commissioners, we recognize that we represent both the Board of Education and Memphis City Schools, directed by the Board.
