Supplemental Educational Service Through the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), MCS is able to provide additional academic support such as Supplemental Educational Services for eligible students. SES is free tutoring aimed at ensuring students receive a boost in academic achievement, specifically in the areas of math, reading and language arts. Upon SES registration, parents select a state-approved tutorial provider whose services are either on-site (at the school), on-line, at the provider’s location or at home. Students who qualify for this service attend Title I High Priority schools in the second year or more of School Improvement and receive free or reduced lunch.
