Mission Statement

The mission of Memphis City Schools’ Office of Volunteer Services is to establish partnerships with parents and community organizations, including private, public, non-profit, civic and faith-based groups, to support the district’s primary goal of “ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT #1.”

In addition to placing volunteers in our schools, the Office of Volunteers Services seeks to acquire valuable resources, including in-kind donations and educational materials, to strengthen and expand learning opportunities for all Memphis City Schools students.
