Under
the federal No
Child Left Behind Act, students who
attend one of the district’s “high priority” Title
1 schools may be eligible for FREE tutoring services
from a state-approved provider during the 2007-08 school
year. This additional academic support is called Supplemental
Educational Services (SES). Parents may contact
the
No
Child Left Behind office at 416-4250 to find
out if their child is eligible for these free services.
Memphis City Schools will host a series of SES
Information Fairs for parents interested in enrolling their child
in one of these state-approved tutorial programs for
the 2007-08 school
year:
