NCLB: Supplemental Education Services

Under the federal No Child Left Behind Act, students who attend one of the district’s “high priority” Title 1 schools may be eligible for FREE tutoring services from a state-approved provider during the 2007-08 school year. This additional academic support is called Supplemental Educational Services (SES). Parents may contact the No Child Left Behind office at 416-4250 to find out if their child is eligible for these free services.

Memphis City Schools will host a series of SES Information Fairs for parents interested in enrolling their child in one of these state-approved tutorial programs for the 2007-08 school year:

    Board of Education, 2597 Avery

  • Tues., Aug. 28 – 4 – 6 p.m.

  • Wed., Aug. 29 – 4 – 6 p.m.
