Technology Engineering Education is an action based program that requires students to use resources to design, produce, use, and assess the impact of products and services that extend human potential to improve and control the natural and human-made environment.

Technological Engineering studies involve:

  • Designing, developing, and utilizing technological systems
  • Open-ended problem-based design activities
  • Cognitive, manipulative, and effective learning strategies
  • Working individually as well as in a team to discover solutions to problems
Classes

Technology Engineering classes train students in the use of tools, machines, materials, and processes. Each class provides opportunities to apply reading, writing, computing, speaking, and listening skills to practical situations.
