Funds for Excellence

The Memphis City Schools Alumni Hall of Fame Gala is the school system’s signature black-tie fundraising event that not only recognizes distinguished MCS alumni, but it also raises much needed resources for music and arts programs in the school system.

The 2nd Annual Alumni Hall of Fame Gala was held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Hilton Hotel. The hotel’s Premier Grand Ballroom was transformed into an exclusive dinner and Hollywood style awards program with tons of sponsor branding opportunities! The gala is an exclusive red carpet event complete with an elegant Sit-Down dinner, Awards Presentation, Silent Auction, and Musical entertainment performed by local and national recording artists and more. A VIP cocktail reception took place prior to the event and was an intimate mixer for event sponsors, local celebrities and other special invited guests.
