The Office of Performance Management and Professional Development


MISSION

“Provide support and assistance to the Human Resources Department in the development, revision, and establishment of performance assessment/management systems and professional development programs that assist the district in achieving the strategic goal of Accountability.”


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement programs of evaluation for central office personnel, as well as develop refinements to the Principal Evaluation Process
  • Design, plan, and deliver professional development training for central office staff, administrative support personnel, building engineer staff, and other support staff
  • Ensure the evaluation process for all district personnel is aligned with district strategic goals, and with the components of the superintendent's evaluation process conducted by the Board of Commissioners
  • Conduct professional development for principals in the performance and implementation of the Teacher Evaluation Process
