Echoes of Truth Show Choir Performance
With the release of their musical CD – “Soul Has No Color”
– the Echoes of Truth Show Choir performs a live remote presentation
at Cats Records Store on Union Avenue this month. Cats Records is one
of the local distributors carrying the CD for sale. The CD can also
be purchased through Gregg Coats, Visual Art and Theatre Coordinator
for Memphis City Schools. Gregg is also the Instructional Director for
the Echoes of Truth Program which is a MCS sponsored summer program
pairing at risk students with students gifted in the arts. Echoes of
Truth is active and hands-on learning following the Renaissance model
of a master guiding apprentices. Students build skills that give confidence
and hope for the future and change attitudes about education. Echoes
of Truth changes lives. “When you find your own voice, you find
truth. When you send truth into the world, it comes back to you like
and echo. We are Echoes of Truth.”
For more information about Echoes of Truth, please contact Gregg
A. Coats, Teaching and Learning Academy, 901.416.2920.
