Cooperative Family Learning

Program Purpose:

To serve preschool children and families through a comprehensive delivery process that includes interactive literacy, parent education, and literacy focused skills building activities that help parents become full partners in the education of their children.

Program Description:

“Family Literacy Services- A Strategy for Change”

A Collaborative approach to serving pre-school children and their families. Internal and external division/agencies work together coordinating their services so that families will receive efficient and effective support services via a seamless service delivery process.

Program Requirements:

Even Start is for Parents or guardians who do not have a high school diploma and have at least one child that is 4 by September 30th. Start Smart is for parents and their children from prenatal to three years of age. Early Childhood Family Education Forum is for parents of children enrolled in a Pre-k classroom.
