Memphis Partners for
Academic Success

Carole Hanson tutoring a studentMemphis Partners for Academic Success (MPAS) enhances existing public/private partnerships to raise academic achievement and increase awareness of career opportunities in high priority schools. Research indicates that the more students are supported by a network of adults who are committed to their success, the more likely they are to feel comfortable at school and to be engaged in their school work. Meaningful community involvement is a powerful connection that produces positive results. Strong schools mean stronger communities. MPAS expands current programs to improve student achievement in a systematic manner that will connect the curriculum to the workforce development needs of Memphis.
