Educational Technology is proud to announce our very first Tech Camp for Memphis City School Teachers. This camp will be an intensive 3-day program for teachers who are experienced with technology and want to take their understanding a step further. We will cover these topics and more:
- Discovering Web 2.0
- Creating your own classroom Blog
- Using Social Bookmarking Sites
- Using Social Networking Tools
- Incorporating Google Earth in your lessons
- Experimenting with Multimedia sites
- Going deeper with SMART Board
- Getting creative with Digital Photography
- Using Discovery Education in classroom instruction
- Developing effective technology integration techniques
- Becoming a MCS Ed Tech Certified Teacher
Tech Camp is free and open to all Memphis City School teachers. Camp will be held at the Teaching and Learning Academy at 2485 Union Avenue.
Sessions begin at 8:15 a.m. each day and continue to 3:00 p.m., with a break for lunch at 11:00. (Lunch is not provided.)
