What is a podcast?
In simple terms they are audio files, sometimes enhanced with pictures
or video, that can be subscribed to and downloaded on a regular basis.
These can be listened to on a computer or on a portable audio player
such as the iPod.
What is so great about podcast's is the ease and low cost involved in their production. With podcasting anyone can have their own radio show. Students and teachers can become involved in the production of content and the audio can be use to demonstrate and disseminate learning.
What do you mean by "subscribe"?
Let's say that you want to listen to the TLA's podcast. Since the podcast is not uploaded at a regularly scheduled time, knowing when to listen is difficult. When you subscribe to an aggregator such as iTunes you can customize the aggregator to automatically download the podcast as as soon as it' s uploaded
What's an "aggregator"?
An aggregator is an application that manages your RSS feeds and Podcasts.
Aggregators work similar to e-mail. Once you have subscribed to an RSS news feed or a Podcast, you will be given a list of headlines or updated podcasts.
How do I subscribe?
We recommend downloading iTunes. Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the application click on the

1. Copy the address in the address bar
2. Open iTunes
3. Click on the Podcast Icon in the left navigation panel
4. Click on Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast...
5. Right click in the window that opened and paste the address in the field.
