DIAMOND Academy “On the Move” to Better Health
Students
at KIPP:DIAMOND Academy are following a pretty historic path to health
these days. As new members of the “Tennessee on the Move (TOM)” health
initiative, KIPP:DIAMOND students are counting every step they walk
or run each day and logging them on a website that takes them on a
simulated journey along the Lewis and Clark Trail.

Offering “One Class at a Time” Teacher Grants
The start
of 2006 marks the start of another opportunity for teachers to win extra
money for their classrooms. The Memphis Area Teachers Credit Union (MATCU)
is now accepting applications for the $500 “One Class at a Time” grant.
