The Next MCS Blue Ribbon Night at
Chick-Fil-A is
Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4th!

It’s time to MOO-VE your students and staff to “Eat Mor Chiken!” The next MCS Blue Ribbon Night at Chick-Fil-A is tomorrow. Remember that 10 percent of the proceeds that MCS generates on April 4th will go to the school that has the most attendance on that night. Another 10 percent will go to the district to help support the Blue Ribbon Plan.

Les Passes & Kids On The Block Puppets Take On Bullying

Les Passes, Incorporated presented a program to students at Lakeview Elementary entitled Kids On The Block. The presentation included a skit with puppet show and information on bullying. The presentation of Kids On The Block is one strategy the school uses to teach students about dealing with bullies. Students interact with the life-size puppets and presenters. They learn how to report bullies, assist others who are being bullied, and involve adults. The program also includes written information for teachers, and activities for students. The guidance counselor, Linda Rooks, invited the group as part of the Blue Ribbon Plan for Lakeview.
