Station Middle School Band = Best in Class
The White Station
Middle School Band was named “Best in Class” at the Director’s
Challenge Invitational Band Festival in San Antonio, Texas, and all
band members received superior ratings.

Fair Set for October 12 – 14 at Cook Convention Center
Students,
counselors and their parents are invited to attend and participate
in Student-College Interview Sessions (SCIS), often referred to as

Craigmont
Middle Shines at The TSA National Conference
Six members of the
Craigmont Middle School Technology Students Association (TSA) Chapter
attended the 2005-06 national conference in Dallas, Texas this summer.
They started working at the end of the school year and over the summer
on their projects for the conference and also worked closely with Craigmont
High School students for help and ideas.

MCS Students Named Semifinalists in the 2007 National Merit
Scholarship Program
Out
of a field of 1.4 million high school juniors in nearly 21,000 high
schools across the nation who entered the 2007 National Merit Program
by taking the 2005 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying
Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 52nd
annual National Merit Scholarship Program were selected, among them
24 high school seniors in the Memphis City Schools.
