On
October 11, one of the many fine Memphis City Schools teachers was
surprised with an honor, the 2006 National Educator Award from
the Milken Family Foundation. Rhonda R. Borden, a Kindergarten
teacher at A.B. Hill Elementary, was selected for this prestigious
award. While the honor was a surprise to her, it was no surprise
to her fellow teachers or to the students at A. B. Hill.
