The Memphis City Schools family is saddened by the loss of our longtime friend and School Board attorney Percy Harvey. Mr. Harvey, a Booker T. Washington and Harvard University graduate, achieved and demonstrated the highest standards of academic excellence and was truly a fighter for the needs of Memphis City Schools’ children.
State Title I Monitoring Set for October
State Title I Monitoring will be conducted in the Memphis City Schools October 24-28.

Give a Cheer for Shelby Oaks Elementary, which kicked off its MCS Reads campaign by hosting a "Reading Pep Rally" at the school on Tuesday, September 20th. Over 350 parents and students attended the event.
