I think it would be extremely beneficial to have foreign language classes in every elementary school not just a chosen few. The foreign language classes at my son's school were eliminated earlier this year and I have been very disappointed with this decision.

Congratulations to the Havenview Middle School Girls Basketball team. They had an undefeated season. As a result, they are League Champs, District Champs and State Champs. Way to go Tigers.

Here at Northside High, I Do Not have enough teachers and the school is becoming very unorganized.We are in the need of another U.S. History teacher, because we only have one. And also we need a U.S. Government teacher, because we haven't had one all year!!

I heard on the news that there will be a teacher layoff for the next school year. What steps are being taken to prevent this from happening in such hard economic times. My husband has already been laid off and that would be devastating to our household with two children and one on the way.

I saw an article in the TriState Defender about one of the voluntary prk classes. We are overlooking our partners and the community collaboration. This was a good story. Check it our if you can find an old issue: Feb. 26- Mar.6

This is a great opportunity for the students.

This is truly astounding. It just shows that there are still compassionate human beings such as Coach Wooten who is willing to give of their time and talent to our youth. May God bless your effort.
