Mission

The mission of A. B. Hill Elementary is to meet the emotional and academic needs of each child by developing the skills necessary for effective communication, problem solving, and responsible decision making.  

Vision

The vision of A. B. Hill Elementary is for all stakeholders to be committed to continuous school improvement enabling students to achieve skills for lifelong learning.

Statement of Beliefs

1. Daily attendance is important for learning.
2. Every student can learn, achieve, and succeed with effective, researched-based instructional strategies delivered by high quality teachers
3. High expectations will be held for all students.
4. Students will be assessed on the curriculum that has been taught.
5. The school will maintain an environment that promotes respect between students, staff, and community.
6. All stakeholders will be a part of the decision making body of the school.
7. District, state, and federal policies will be followed by all stakeholders.
