Shelby County Schools' Mission

Destination 2025 is designed to not only improve the quality of public education, but also create a more knowledgeable, productive workforce and ultimately benefit the entire community.

iZone Vision

To increase student achievement by ensuring highly effective teachers and leaders create and maintain learning environments tailored to the needs of all learners.

iZone Mission

The intent of the iZone is to accelerate school turnaround in high-need schools that have been designated by the state as among the state's lowest performing schools. Our mission is that within five years, priority schools selected provide excellent principals and teachers the opportunity to dramatically improve student learning through autonomy over personnel, program, time, and budget decisions.

School's Vision

Our students will achieve academic success, as measured by local and national standards, in all content areas through a literature-based academic program that will educate students beyond elementary school to become productive citizens who contribute effectively to the growth of their community.
