Our next parent meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m. or at the conclusion of our MIAA play-off football game. We will vote for the office of PTSA Vice-President.

Re: Crisis Kits

The main goal of Bellevue Junior High School is to help children achieve academic success in a safe and secure learning environment. In wake of the September 11, 2001, disasters, our school has been actively involved in emergency response planning. Although our school may not be a high-priority target for terrorism or other major disasters, we want, nevertheless, to be prepared for any emergency. Therefore, we are asking your support in preparing emergency kits for your child’s homeroom. We need enough supplies and kits to sustain us for at least 3 consecutive days in the event of an emergency that isolates Bellevue from the rest of the community. You can help us by donating any of the items listed below:

Supplies & Food Needed

Flashlights and extra batteries canned meats

Alcohol/peroxide canned fruits/vegetables

bottled water (1 gallon per person daily) protein bars
