"We are moving from good to GREAT!!!!!!!!!"

Bellevue Announcements!

Thanks to all of our parents who attended the first PTSA meeting after our first football game. We had more than 200 people in attendance! Way to go Bobcat parents! Our next PTSA meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m. but has been postponed until a later date. We do want to remind parents of Open House/Parent Teacher Conference Night on October 13th!

A big, big thank you to St. Jude's Hospital for recently adopting Bellevue Middle School. We look first forward to having a "world-class" relationship with a "world-class" organization such as St. Jude!

The Bellevue Annual Fall Fundraiser Kick-Off will begin on Friday, October 7. Please make plans to have your child participate!

Homecoming Week is Monday, September 22-26. There are several activities planned for the week including a football game, homecoming dance, and several dress-themed days. Look below for the focus each day.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Saturday, November 8th, Bellevue Middle School will be hosting a 5K Walk/Run to honor the memory of Mrs. Margie Dowell, a Bellevue teacher who passed away December 23,2007, after a short illness. The Walk/Run will allow Bellevue to provide scholarship assistance to current and previous Bellevue students. The annual 5K Walk/Run will offer unrestricted funding to a deserving student who demonstrates outstanding leadership and community involvement in one or more nonprofit organizations.

The Margie Dowell Service and Leadership Award was created in Mrs. Dowell's honor because of her unmatched generosity and never-ending compassion. She was the very essesence of community activism. When she saw a need , she filled it. Mrs. Margie Dowell was Bellevue's school trip coordinator, Kids Kan organizer, coronation coordinator, Student Council sponsor, after-school enrichment tutor, community service leader, and the list goes on.
