Bellevue Supply List for upcoming Bobcats!

(Grades 6 - 8)

Basic Supply List:

 

This is a basic "getting started" list only.

Each team of teachers, and each exploratory teacher

will give out specific supply lists to the students

during the first week of school.

Students should have the following supplies at all times:

Loose-leaf notebook paper (wide-ruled)
4 - 6 pencils (#2 lead)
2 - 4 pens (blue or black ink)
4 - 6 folders with pockets and tabs
At least one hand-held pencil sharpener
One ruler
One protractor
One pack of colored pencils

The Giver by, Lois Lowry for all my FHAO classes (8th grade only)
Warriors Don't Cry by, Melba Patillo Beals for ALL 8th Grade American History Classes.
2 boxes of Kleenex, a packet of dry erase markers and two bottles of hand sanitizer.

Tennessee Electronic Library has a large online database on various subjects from Social Science, Hsitory, to Biography. Many of these sources are extracts from Encyclopedias. Most of our students research needs can be met by visiting the TEL online database.

Re: Crisis Kits

The main goal of Bellevue Junior High School is to help children achieve academic success in a safe and secure learning environment. In wake of the September 11, 2001, disasters, our school has been actively involved in emergency response planning. Although our school may not be a high-priority target for terrorism or other major disasters, we want, nevertheless, to be prepared for any emergency. Therefore, we are asking your support in preparing emergency kits for your child’s homeroom. We need enough supplies and kits to sustain us for at least 3 consecutive days in the event of an emergency that isolates Bellevue from the rest of the community. You can help us by donating any of the items listed below:
