
2008-2009 School Uniform Information
Tops (shirts, blouses) must be white, with collars and sleeves.
Bottoms (pants, walking shorts, skirts and jumpers) must be black, tan or navy blue.
Shoes should not have heels higher than an inch and a half.
What if I do not want my child to wear the uniform?
Parents who do not wish their children to wear uniforms because of religious beliefs or religious dress or because of a parent's strongly-held beliefs must contact their school for a Request for Exemption form.

For noncompliance, the following steps are followed closely:
- The school shall attempt to contact the student's parent or guardian to determine whether the student has uniform clothing.
- If the student has uniform clothing, the school should request that the parent bring the uniform to school.
In addition to the above:
- First Violation - A Notice of Dress Code Violation will be denoted on the student's discipline log.
- Second Violation - A Notice of Parent Conference in Lieu of Suspension will be sent home with the student. This notice requires the parent to come to the school for a conference the next school day. If the parent does not attend the conference, the student shall receive a one-day home suspension at the end of the day.
- Third Violation - The student shall lose certain school privileges for a period of time, to be determined by the principal.
- Fourth Violation - a one-day home suspension will be issued.
