Kindergarten Visits Fire Museum

All the Kindergarten classes visited the Fire Museum over two days in February.

The students learned about fire safety and experienced what it is like to be a firemen. 

 

Donuts for Dads

Is an annual event sponsored by the PTO and Title I .  The purpose it to provide fathers with important information about the school and ways they can stay involved.

 

Character Day

Character Day is a Brownsville Road tradition. Students have been participating in Character Day for many years. Here are our 2nd grade winners for the 2007-2008 year.


PARADE OF HONORS @ BROWNSVILLE ROAD


Students were recognized for their achievement on Thursday, November 15th
Congratulations to all students receiving Principal's List, Honor Roll, Citizenship and Perfect Attendance.


Reading Night @ Brownsville Road


The students, parents, and teachers had an awesome time during reading night. Students and teachers wore pajamas and the students participated in a wild reading scavenger hunt. The parents were given information on the 5 components of reading and teaching techniques on how to help their child become a successful reader. Parents later joined their children in classrooms around the building for a culminating reading activity.
