  Mr. Corey Williams,

  Principal

Welcome to Chickasaw Middle School

Welcome back to another great and exciting school year!  It is my vision that Chickasaw Middle School will become a premier institution of learning that will assist in producing lifelong learners who respect themselves and others and provide leadership in their community through the incorporation of the 5 A’s:  Attitude, Accountability, Appearance, Actions, and Achievement.  We begin this school year celebrating our school's transition from School Improvement 2, to School Improvement 2 Improving.  This recognition from the Tennessee State Department of Education shows that we are making gains.  For this honor, we would like to thank the parents, faculty and staff, and most importantly the students for their support of our school and the hard work that it took to get to the next level.

There is still work to do.  We must not only continue where we left off with the successes of last year, but undoubtedly improve our successes for 2008-2009.   We will continue to move forward in improving student discipline, remaining a fight free zone, and improving and maintaining high quality academic performance of all Chickasaw Middle School students in all subjects.  By instilling in students the importance of studying hard, ensuring that teaching and learning is occurring at all times, and lastly working to make sure that our building is a beacon of light for our community, we will continue to move this school forward.  I look forward to working with our staff, parents, and community coming together as a team, using teamwork to make the dream work.  And that dream is Every Child, Every Day, will be College Bound, No Excuses!

Love Chickasaw Middle School
