The Greatness Continues...
As I draw to the conclusion of my first year as principal of Cordova High School, I can only say how proud I am to have lead this school community in the many successes that we have experienced: our first ever National Merit Scholar, Ray’s off to Yale and Ebony, our National Achievement Finalist, off to Harvard. Joy, another National Achievement Finalist, off to the Georgia Institute of Technology. What a grand finish for our Valedictorian and Co-Salutatorians! I applaud all of our students for finishing the school year without incident and taking all of their exams seriously. Attendance on our last three days was record breaking. I credit our parents with offering the proper guidance and support that is needed by our school to get these things accomplished. Many thanks to our outgoing PTSA Board and congratulations to all of our new parents that have agreed to hold positions for next year. Without this parental leadership and support our many successes would not be possible. Please make an effort, everyone, to join the PTSA and possibly offer some of your time to volunteer and help maintain the quest for GREATNESS as it continues. I wish all of you a safe and enjoyable summer. Keep your kids reading, and we’ll see you back in August as The Greatness Continues…
