What is T.E.L.?
The Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) provides free online access to selected electronic databases for all libraries serving the citizens of the state of Tennessee: public, academic, school, and not-for-profit special libraries. T.E.L. provides patrons access to resources that would not otherwise be available to them.

TEL is supported by state funds and federal funds under the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) and is administered by the Tennessee State Library and Archives, a division of the Tennessee Department of State, Riley C. Darnell, Secretary of State.
