Cordova Middle School teacher Yolanda Anderson (left) and her student Atlantis Young, 15, can’t help but dance in the aisle when Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller” begins playing during the performance portion of Shelby County School’s Very Special Arts Festival at Hope Presbyterian Church at 8500 Walnut Grove Road in Cordova. It is the 12th year for the two-day event celebrating the achievements of students with disabilities.
Congratulations to 6th grader, Keith Casto. He has been awarded with an honorable mention for his entry in The Max Warburg Courage Curriculum 2016 Courage in My Life National Essay Contest. (see full article)
