Volunteering at least four days a week, Mrs. Felecia Wade has become an extremely helpful volunteer and advocate for Corry Middle School. Mrs. Wade utilizes her time and talents by assisting the teachers with planning program, decorating the school, and monitoring the cafeteria and classrooms. Mrs. Wade is the president of the Parent Teacher Association. Seeing children happy is a key concern for her and she shows it!

STUDENT AGREEMENT

It is important that I do my best. Therefore, I will strive to do the following:

  • Come to school on time daily and report to all classes on time as scheduled.
  • Come to school each day with pens, pencils, paper, and other materials used for learning.
  • Complete and return all homework assignments.
  • Practice good study habits with regular study hours.
  • Adhere to rules of student Code of Conduct.
  • Make up missed assignments promptly.
  • Follow the dress code as specified in the student handbook.
  • Respect myself and others.

PARENT AGREEMENT

I want my child to achieve. Therefore, I will encourage him / her by doing the following:

  • See that my child is punctual and attends school regularly.
  • Support the school in its efforts to maintain proper discipline.
  • Establish a time and place for homework and review homework regularly.
  • Monitor my child's learning and progress on a regular basis.
  • Provide my child with necessary school supplies and materials.
  • Provide appropriate reading material for my child and let my child see me read.
  • Attend parent meetings and other special programs or activities when possible.
  • Review and sign my child's report card each six weeks as well as other school related documents.

It is important that students achieve at higher levels and experience success. Thereefore, I shall strive to do the following:

  • Provide appropriate instruction and meaningful homework assignments.
  • Monitor the progress of students regularly.
  • Use special activities in the classroom to make learning enjoyable.
  • Provide opportunities for students to make up missed assignments.
  • Provide opportunities to assist parents so they will be able to help with assignments.
  • Encourage students and parents by providing information about student progress.
  • Use diverse teaching strategies so that all students can learn at a higher level.
