I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. After graduating with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, I worked as an engineer for Terex Worldwide Distribution Center in Southaven, MS. I enjoyed my job which included computer programming, inventory control, maintenance supervision, customer service, and anything else that needed to be done. I even have a license to drive a forklift!
Several parts of my job allowed me the opportunity to teach fellow workers. I loved this part of my job, and decided it was what I wanted to do fulltime. After about four years in the engineering profession, I decided to get my license to teach.
I now have been teaching at Craigmont Middle School for several years. I love just about every minute of it.
I come from a family of three children. I have one brother and one sister. My older sister has two sons and one daughter. My brother is younger than me. He was married to Heather on September 15, 2001.

I was married on a very icy day in January 1996. My husband is a regional manager of several music stores, and spends most of his time playing and building his many guitars or surfing the net. We both went to Sheffield High School. I have known him since seventh grade. In junior high I could not stand him! Wouldn't it be funny if that goofy boy or girl sitting next to you in math class ended up your husband or wife. It happened to me!
I rescued her from the pound in 1997.
She is a terrier mix. She is my baby. She weighs about 14.8 lbs - very little!
My second dog was found running around in the school one morning!
Well,
his name is Geddy. He is a lot of fun and enormous! Clemente is the oldest. We
got him the year we were married. He is one of our two black cats. My sister gave
him to us. Rocky is my female black cat. I rescued her from under the dumpster
at my old job in 1998. She is not very friendly, but she is sweet. That is her
taking a flying leap onto Clemente. We call her Rocky because she can beat up
any cat or DOG in the neighborhood even though she only weighs about 5 lbs.

I like to do all sorts of things in my spare time.
