Crump Elementary School Salutes Mrs. Mary Ellen Britt.

We recently lost our dear Financial Secretary and friend and she is now with her Lord.  We already miss Mrs. Brit and our thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this most trying time.

As a public tribute to Mrs. Britt the staff and faculty of Crump
simultaneously released balloons towards the heavens in her honor.

I will never forget summer 2006, we joined Crump Elementary School together with Ms. Britt.  Ms. Britt was a true friend. Several times we closed that door and shared about everything.  She kept us all straight in the office.  She was talented in so many ways.  She made a beautiful blanket for me to stay warm. I am going to miss you.  Good bye Ms. Britt.  We will not spend any money.  We will meet again up yonder -    -until then keep singing "Beulah Land."

Dr. Lyne Ssebikindu
Assistant Principal, Crump Elementary School

It was very easy to make friends with Mrs. Britt. It all began when we began talking about our grandchildren. She loved hers and I loved mine. She was very easy to talk to. She was always kind and helpful to me. She was never impatient or abrupt with me. Mrs. Britt always had something nice, funny or interesting to say to me each morning as I signed in. She made me feel like a close friend. I was deeply sadden when I learned she had passed away. She will be greatly missed.
