Here are two great Resources for Parents and Teachers!
1.Parent and Community Engagement
This website offers an academic parental curriculum as a program of study that will serve as a guide for training sessions to assist parents / guardians, community members, and other stakeholders and allow participants to engage in strategies that will assist in helping students achieve the maximum academic success.
2. National Assessment Education Process
This website is for the 4th grade teachers because the students
will be taking the NAEP in February. The website has a link to sample test items.
Teachers should click on sample questions, then questions too.
3. National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
This site has several math activities and lessons that correlate with the national standards. They could also be bookmarked on the smart board for the teachers to use.
4. Volunteer Information Form
This is necessary per Memphis City Schools policy on volunteering. In order to provide protection of students, MCS requires criminal background screenings for many volunteers based upon their level of service.
