First Grade Supply List 2008-2009


Backpack ( required to carry books and folders)
1 package of multi-colored construction paper
2 boxes of pencils (#2) 24 count
1 pack of cap erasers
2 boxes of Crayola Crayons ( 24 count)
1 pair Fiskars scissors (blunt nose)
6 glues sticks
1 bottle of Elmer’s glue
2 Composition notebooks ( black/white marbled please)
5 solid color portfolio folders ( red, green, yellow, blue, purple)
2 boxes of Kleenex
2 Spiral notebooks
1 bottle hand sanitizer
1 pencil bag with zipper
2 dry erase markers

Girls only: 1 box of gallon size Ziplocs

Boys only: 1 box of sandwich size Ziplocs

Available at Downtown Elementary book store:
Chair bag ( required to old books and classroom suplies)
2 parent/teacher communication folders ( for daily folder and weekly progress report)
1 ream of first grade handwriting paper**Please do not label any supplies. We will do this for you. Put all supplies in a brown paper sack. Label only the sack. School supplies are due by the end of the first week of school.
