Downtown Elementary

• 5 Spiral Notebooks
• 2 Hard-backed Mead Composition Notebooks (not spiral, has a black and white marble-look cover)
• 3 Pocket folders with metal brads or paper
• 2 boxes of crayons
• 1 pair of Fiskars-type scissors
• 2 gluesticks
• 1 bottle of white school glue
• 1 package of wide-ruled filler paper
• 2 reams of copy paper
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 box of freezer Ziploc bags (girls bring quart size - boys bring gallon size)
• 4 packages of 12 #2 pencils
• Downtown Elementary Agenda book (available at the school bookstore)
• Chair Bag (available in the school bookstore)
• 1 package large-size Dry Erase markers
• 2 parent-teacher communication folders (purchase from bookstore)
• 1 writer's journal (purchase from bookstore)
• Watercolor markers

Except for the chair bags and agenda book, these will become classroom community supplies. Please do not put your child's name on any of the supplies. Please keep any supplies not listed at home. We do not have space in the classroom for pencil boxes or 3-ring binders. Individual pencil sharpeners are not allowed due to the mess they create.
