Six leading business and community organizations have become Adopt-A-School partners of Downtown Elementary. These partners support the school by reading to classes, serving as resource persons, providing incentives to motivate students, serving as positive roll models, tutoring, contributing to the art program, and otherwise encouraging students to strive for excellence.

Employees provide tutoring, guest speakers, incentives, and volunteer support.

Employees tutor, provide incentives, and support school programs.

St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral

Members provide tutoring, school supplies and uniforms, and sponsor the Angel Tree program.

Performa Entertainment Real Estate

Provides tutors, funding for student incentives, and school volunteers.

Fogelman YMCA

Employees tutor and provide extracurricular programs, such as swimming and summer camp.

The Memphis Rotary Club Downtown

Members tutor students and provide funding for the Heart for Art program, the Tutoring Center, and other initiatives and programs.
