Vision Statement:
Our vision is to create a positive learning environment in a comprehensive setting that prepares students for life-long learning. All students will receive the respect, encouragement, and opportunities they need to build the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be successful, contributing members of a changing global society.

Vision
Memphis City Schools will be an internationally competitive urban school system that produces well-rounded, high achieving students.

- Establish a holistic accountability system that evaluates the academic, operational and fiscal performance of the school district.

- Create a school community that listens to student input and promotes student leadership and healthy youth development.
