Mission Statement:
Our mission is to empower all students to become productive, global citizens in the 21st. century.
Vision Statement:
The East Career and Technology Center will be a school that produces students who are best in class in the knowledge-based economy of the 21st century. They will be well-known and sought after for their pace-setting leadership in reading with comprehension, writing clearly, computing accurately, thinking, reasoning, using information to solve problems, and helping to make the world and their neighborhoods good places to live and work.

Vision
Memphis City Schools will be an internationally competitive urban school system that produces well-rounded, high achieving students.

- Establish a holistic accountability system that evaluates the academic, operational and fiscal performance of the school district.
