Wednesday, March 5, 2008, students were honored for their fourth six weeks accomplishments. Many parents, guardians, and staff members were present for the celebration.
The Science Department, which consists of Mrs. Wilbern, Mr. Shirley and Mr. Lampkin, hosted the program. The program was titled "Forecasting Your Future".
The program revolved around a Trojan News Broadcast, including student reporters, commercial breaks, local news, and the weather. Mark Walden, meteorologist for ABC 24, Eye Witness News Everywhere, was the guest speaker. Following his inspirational message, students were presented with their fourth six weeks awards.
