Tuesday,
November 20, 2007, students were honored for their second six
weeks accomplishments. The Exploratory and Exceptional Children
Departments sponsored the program, which was titled "Your
Future . . . Explore the Possibilities?" Members of the
Exceptional Children Department are Ms. Davis, Mrs. Jackson,
Ms. Ribnick and Ms. D. Smith. Members of the Exploratory Department
are Coach Wimbley, Mrs. Cocke, Mrs. Forbes, Mr. Ross, Ms. Shelton,
Mrs. M. Smith, and Mrs. Woodard.
The program included the a poem written by and performed by
Devon Y. , as well as musical selections by the Fairview Middle
School Choir and Band, led by Mr. Ross. Mr. Douglas Scarboro
presented the student body with word of encouragement and inspiration.
Students were then presented awards for Most Improved, Citizenship,
Perfect Attendance, Second Honor Roll, Distinguished Honor Roll
and Principal's Honor Roll.
