Clergy Luncheon

On September 14, 2007, Fairview hosted a Clergy Luncheon. Several churches from the Fairview community were represented, including The Church on the Square, Galloway United Methodist Church and Union Avenue Baptist Church. Members of the clergy enjoyed lunch and a vocal selection, Hero, sung by LeRoy S. and Tien L. After lunch, Ms. Powell, Ms. Gipson and Principal Smith presented some of the wonderful things taking place at Fairview as well as the needs the school has. Ways to help the Fairview community were also discussed. Student Ambassadors representing Fairview at the meeting were LeRoy S., Tien L., Maria G., Preston W., and Jasmine J. Others attending the luncheon were Ms. C. Smith, Principal; Ms. T. Powell, Fairview’s Adopt-a-School Coordinator; Mrs. K. Gipson, Counselor; Mrs. C. Woodard, Librarian; Ms. Kelli Davis, The Church on the Square; Troy Ann Poulopoulos, Galloway United Methodist Church; and Jeff Williamson, Union Avenue Baptist Church.
