PTSO & Annual Title I Meeting |

On
October 8, 2007, Fairview held it's Annual Title I Meeting. It
was also the first meeting of the Fairview Middle School Parent-Teacher-Student
Organization (PTSO) was held. The evening began to Ms. Mayfield, PDSCC, and Principal Smith sharing information about Fairview and the vision for the school. After the Title I Meeting, parents, students and teachers moved to the cafeteria for the PTSO Meeting. At the PTSO meeting, parents and students elected officers and discussed plans for the year. Parent officers are Beverly Anderson, President; Sharresa Noel, Vice-President; Kris Bell, Secretary; Tonocha Dyson, Treasurer; and Arlinda Johnson, Membership Chair. Student officers are Karl R., 8th Grade Representative; Briana D., 7th Grade Representative; and Eboni J., 6th Grade Representative. The next PTSO meeting will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007.
