Frams.con is an after school enrichment club that focuses on Math and Science. This is the fifth year of Frams.con. Students in grades 3 - 6 are encouraged to join based on their Science TCAP score from the previous year. Each month we investigate a topic and participate in a hands-on field trip to further our learning. The group was started with a grant which funded the first year of study. Since then, the hands-on field trips that help make learning "real" are low cost to encourage student participation.

Fourth grade students are involved with the Brooks Museum in a program of study in the elements of art. Students travel to the museum for field trips and have two school visits by museum staff. After students are exposed to different art styles, they have hands-on experience to practice what they have been taught and compile their own portfolios. Units of study have included "The Impressionists" and "African Art". The program is free, but the school must provide transportation.

The Junior Deputy Program targets 4th grade students to make them aware of Law Enforcement's role in the community. This three month program teaches the following: Juvenile Justice System, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Stranger Safety/In Case of Emergency.

Fifth grade students, parents, and teachers participate in Junior Achievement's Exchange City. This is a state-of-the-art learning laboratory. The 8-week curriculum focuses on economic principles and the free enterprise system. In Exchange City students run businesses, seek bank loans, pay taxes and make payroll every day. This "hands-on" approach helps students learn-by-doing and practice "real life" skills. Opportunities are provided for parents to work in a positive relationship with their children's school and teachers.

The Charmettes Club is designed to increase sixth grade girls’ awareness of charm and etiquette through guest speakers from the community, an overnight stay at a local hotel, worshipping at local churches, attending University of Memphis Lady Tigers’ games, college tours, and hosting a Mother and Daughter tea.

The Men of Distinction is designed to encourage our sixth grade boys to become young men displaying the characteristics of citizenship, scholarship, and brotherhood. Through their daily actions, these gentlemen provide role models for the other students of Frayser Elementary.

The PomPon Squad, made up of students from grades K-6, are the spirit leaders of the school. At the beginning of the year try-outs are held. Students must maintain a C average in all coursework, have satisfactory conduct, a positive attitude, and exhibit school spirit.

The Frayser Ram Steppers, consisting of girls from grades 1 through 6, perform routines during various school events that are similar to college sororities. Students must have an E or S in conduct and maintain at least a C average in all subjects.
