Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2006-07 school year!  I am so proud of the students and staff at Frayser Elementary.  This year we were selected as one of two Memphis City Schools to be named the 2006 Blue Ribbon School of the Year.  This distinction is bestowed upon the elementary and secondary schools most successful in implementing the district's Blue Ribbon initiative.  Our students and staff have worked hard to meet the criteria for this honor, which included an improvement in student achievement, an increase in student attendance, a decrease in office referrals, stakeholder support of the plan, and a positive and safe environment.

With the help of our students, staff, parents, adopters, and the community we will continue to work together not only to meet, but exceed, district, state, and federal standards.
