The Poetry, Prose & Puppetry Club

The Poetry, Prose & Puppetry Club has been established this year thanks to the award made to Mrs. White , our librarian, by Memphis Area Teachers Credit Union and Channel 24. ! 

This grant provided for the purchase of six character puppets and a mobile puppet stage.

The sixth graders in the club will be assisting 4th and 5th grade students in creating and performing puppet skits throughout the year.

The club encourages students to develop their writing and speaking skills as well as builds self-confidence and provides the students with and artistic outlet.
