Georgian Hills Elementary School Adopters

Wachovia (as SouthTrust Bank) has been the adopter of Georgian Hills Elementary School since 1996.  The Wachovia employees and management have provided classrooms and the library with hundreds of books.  Their generous efforts have also provided for the many trophies and awards given to our students for achievements in academics, attendance and conduct.  They have provided expertise and support in a number of areas in the life of our school.  We greatly appreciate the efforts and support of our friends at Wachovia.

Impact Baptist Church and Ministries

We are extremely excited to welcome our newest adopter, Impact Baptist Church and Ministries to the Georgian Hills Elementary school family.  Impact Ministries graciously sponsored an Ice Cream social for the entire student body, faculty and staff to celebrate our Memphis City Schools Reads campaign kick-off.  We truly believe that Impact Ministries’ commitment of impacting, inspiring, involving, and instructing will make a positive impact at Georgian Hills Elementary, as they embed themselves in our classrooms and building.
