Belief Statement

At Georgian Hills Elementary School, we believe that:

• All students will learn through developmentally appropriate lessons in a safe and positive atmosphere.
• Students will be provided with opportunities to enhance and extend their learning both academically

              and socially.

• Teachers will use a variety of assessments to plan appropriate instruction. Stakeholders (teachers,administrators, parents, community representatives, and school support  personnel) will share in providing an environment conducive to learning and participate in  decision and policy making.
• Relationships between parents and school are vital to a student’s academic success

Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower all stakeholders of Georgian Hills Elementary to participate in creating a safe learning environment where all students will have an opportunity to achieve at higher levels.  It is also our mission to provide all students with the social skills necessary to lead productive lives.

Vision Statement

Our vision at Georgian Hills Elementary is to create a learning environment of respect, fairness, honesty and responsibility where all students will achieve at higher levels, and become life-long learners.  Our vision will:

• ·Provide professional growth activities in research-based strategies for teachers
• Provide learning experiences and assessments that address our students’ strengths and weaknesses
• Make school-based decisions that will lead to the accomplishment of our mission and vision.
