African-American History - This site from the Biography channel gives detailed information about famous African-Americans. This one is highly recommended.
Administration - Although this site is geared towards school administrators, teachers are welcomed by the National Association for Secondary School Principals to visit.
The Commercial Appeal- You can actually read the newspaper from your computer. No need to worry about a wet paper on rainy mornings.
Dogpile - Do you need a good search engine? This site has a set of compiled lists to find your query.
Ed Helper - This site is the "Granddaddy" of all sites. It is filled with lesson plans, webquests, and worksheets for all disciplines.
Eisenhower National Clearinghouse - ENC is packed with materials for professional development, lessons, and the latest information to assist any educator.
English - This is a great site for English literature lesson plans.
ERIC- With so many of us enrolled in university classes, we are always conducting research for papers and presentations. This site is based at Syracuse University and has one of the best databases for educational resource material.
Evaluation Forms - If you are to be evaluated this year, you can find the forms that are required to complete your portfolio from this site. Adobe Reader is needed; you can download that from the site above.
Figure This - This is a great site for families to take a math challenge.
The Futures Channel - Look into the future of education by looking through the past. For all disciplines, this is an excellent site.
Google - This is also a great search engine; it is student-friendly.
Illuminations - This site assists knowledgeable teachers who have adequate resources to support their work and are continually growing as professionals.
Lesson Plans - This is one of the best sites I have seen to find a lesson plan in any subject.
Mathematics - The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics always has a wealth of information on their site.
Mathematics Lesson Plans, Practice Tests, and Worksheets - If you can't find it on here for your math lesson, you can't find it anywhere.
Mathematics Quizzes - I found this site to be a great way for teachers to (collectively) test their students on competency examination questions.
NASA - For any discipline, this site will take days just to explore.
National Science Foundation - This is "Where Discoveries Begin."
News - MSNBC has one of the best sites that includes up-to-the minute news, weather, and videos from current NBC broadcasts.
Science - Not a lot of lessons, but this site has quality plans.
Science - The National Science Teachers Association offers lesson plans for all age levels and areas.
Social Studies - This site is filled with lesson plans in all areas of the subject.
Tennessee - Find out whatever you need to know about our state.
Tennessee (Education) - Find out whatever you need to know about our state's education system.
USA Today - The Commercial Appeal may not have everything that you need; try this site to find news from around the world.
US Department of Education - This site is helpful to all educators. It is filled with news, grants, financial aid, and other resources to assist public school teachers and administrators.

The White House - Not only can you take a private tour of the President's Home, but there are biographies, messages from our nation's leaders, radio messages from the President, and information on policy from each of the cabinet offices.
